The Association again participated in the Shelford Feast where we held our usual tombola of French goods, with a good variety of bottles, biscuits, mustards etc, nearly all sourced in France thanks to Colin and Janet Jefferson. This was again successful, although not quite selling out once the attractive wine selection had all been won! In addition we offered our version of boules and a good number of people tried their hand, several succeeding in hitting the tiny jack.
The Feast also presented an ideal opportunity to chat to interested people about the twinning. If and when invited, we will be applying for a grant from the Bunch when they come to decide on allocation of the profits.
